I was in Sandy. I wasn't hit that bad. We had bad wind, that sent out power out for 3 weeks. When my mom went to pick me up from school we were pull in my drive way, and the power was back, and I was as happy as ever. (:

Sumatra should be #1.
This was in no particular order. It wasn't done in death toll or even total damage, it was more like "this is what people will think is cool to see on YT"
Like, I can create a natural disaster in my bathroom after a large spicy meal.

Loma Pre-eh-ta not Pee-er-ta (Loma Prieta)
Candlestick not Candlesick
And to clarify for those who don't know - only a single small section on the upper level of the Bay Bridge collapsed resulting in 1 death due to a car hitting the ridge. The picture used is the East Bay Cypress Structure (Nimitz Freeway) that pancaked due to posts that had not yet been retrofitted to withstand large quakes. Completely different area and section of roadway. Survivors were pulled out up to a few days after the quake thanks to the non-stop work of fire, rescue, and innumerable volunteers.

Sumatra bugged the hell out of me. Su-ma-tra, not Su-ma-tara or however he said it. Had to give the video a thumbs down for being so lazy and ignorant.

As aperson who grew up listening to stories around September 19th memorials I was expecting Mexico's 1985 earthquake here, there were between 5,000–45,000 casulities (there is a lot of different counts from different places).
